Mutually Acceptable Behaviour

07/11/2024 by tech.admin

What is Allowed

The goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all users. To ensure this, there are certain guidelines about what is acceptable in any shared space or community setting.

  1. Respect for Others
All individuals should act with respect and consideration toward one another. Everyone has the right to feel safe and comfortable in any environment.

  2. Safe Spaces for All
A shared space or community should be a place where all individuals, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs, feel welcome. Discrimination of any kind—whether based on race, gender, nationality, religion, or any other personal characteristic—is unacceptable.

  3. Respecting Local Norms
While traveling or interacting within different communities, it’s important to respect the culture and norms of the area. Everyone should follow the local customs and be mindful of the community’s values.

  4. No Harmful Behaviour
Harmful behaviour, such as violence, harassment, or threatening actions, is prohibited. Every individual should be treated with kindness, dignity, and respect, and actions that cause harm to others should be avoided.

  5. Clear Communication
Open, honest, and respectful communication is essential. Misleading, deceptive, or dishonest behaviour is not acceptable. All parties should strive to be clear about their intentions and expectations.

  6. Responsible Use of Resources
All resources should be accurately represented and used responsibly. Those offering spaces or services should only offer what they actually have the right to provide. Similarly, those using these services should do so with genuine intent.

  7. Health and Safety
Hosts and users alike are responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment. This includes providing basic amenities, ensuring property maintenance, and following safety guidelines to ensure everyone’s well-being.

  8. No Unlawful Activities
Unlawful activities of any kind are strictly prohibited. This includes fraud, the sale of unlawful goods or services, and any actions that break the law or harm others.

  9. Respect Property Rights
Everyone must respect the rights of others concerning property. Guests should take care not to damage property, and hosts or owners should respect the privacy and property of those they interact with.

By following these principles, we can create a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. If any individual violates these guidelines, appropriate actions may be taken to maintain a respectful and safe environment for all.
